Apart from the colors, the vibe, and these two in general, my favorite part about these engagements were that they were 100% Madeline and Ben. While planning their engagements, Madeline brought up Hailey and Justin Bieber’s editorial Vogue spread as their inspo and I immediately died. We originally talked about finding an open grassy field somewhere and making them more ethereal, but as their session grew closer, Madeline messaged me and said she had been way too influenced by traditional engagements and it just wasn’t them! She asked if we could take them right there in their apartment by their pool. UM YES! It’s their beloved home and their first place together so these pictures hold so much meaning for them.

And then Madeline told me about her LoveShackFancy gown and I died again.
